Handbags Are A Girl’s Best Friend :: Coach Mom’s Night Out Event Recap

Collin County Moms Blog partnered with Coach – Legacy West to bring you this event. All opinions below are 100% our own!

Whoever said diamonds are a girl’s best friend had clearly never carried a gorgeous handbag. Many say a woman’s purse is a reflection of her life. The style, the contents, the size, the list goes on. Because we know this all to be true we thought to partner with the new Coach store at Legacy West, in Plano just made sense!

Coach pulled out all the stops for our group! Upon our arrival, we were greeted with a glass of wine to help us unwind from a busy day of mommin’. Everyone enjoyed being able to mix and mingle, while also browsing the latest trends in both handbags and fashion. Coach had their classic looks on display as well as an exclusive sneak peek at their new fall collection. It’s always fun to have the opportunity to be the first to know!

We learned a little of Coach’s history and about their newest mascot, Rexy. Rexy is a vintage mascot who recently received an updated look to become the newest addition to the line up of Coach accessories. So not only can Coach help you choose the perfect handbag but now you can accessorize it to match your personal style. The Coach staff also hosted a red carpet worthy fashion show and even pulled in a few women in attendance to participate. They styled us from head to toe with so many pieces that fit so effortlessly into any mom’s regular rotation. They showed us how having a killer handbag and a few great staples in your closet can be the difference between best dressed, and what not to wear.

All that shopping can make any girl work up an appetite, and Coach had us covered there as well. A perfect spread from Corner Bakery and sweet treats from Susie Cakes were exactly what these mamas needed to refuel for the remainder of the evening.

One of the most exciting parts of the night were the giveaways (duh!). We had some amazing giveaways from brands like Kate Somerville, Tommy Bahama, Starbucks, True Food Kitchen, Venetian Spa, and Filson. Kate Somerville had an extra treat in store for the ladies, and offered the opportunity to sign up for some much needed pampering at one of their famous Dermal Quench Oxygen Facials (a $270 value).

At the end of the evening we had one final surprise for the women. Everyone who attended the event received an incredible swag bag. Coach was incredibly generous and included a small cosmetic bag, and a personalized bag tag. Thanks to other brands such as Westrock Coffee, and Shake Shack for contributing to such an amazing swag bag!

As moms any night to ourselves that allows us to let our hair down, and remember the girl we were before having the responsibility of a family is welcomed. Sometimes we need a little reminder that we still know how to be on trend, and still know how to have a good time given the opportunity. Thank you to Coach and all the brands who participated and had a hand in hosting one of those nights for us.

Also, thank you to RC Photography for capturing the whole evening. If you don’t have plans for your family photos this season, definitely check out RC photography’s holiday mini shoots.

We’re so grateful to the fun group of women who attended this event. We had so much fun letting loose with you, and can’t wait to do it again soon! Collin County Moms Blog just celebrated our 1st anniversary and we are so grateful to everyone who has shown us support as we get our feet off the ground. Be sure and stay tuned, because we’re just getting started! Until then, don’t be afraid to treat yo’ self to that handbag that’s been haunting you since you locked eyes in the store.
