From Girls’ Night Out to Moms’ Night In

We moms deserve a break.

Whether you stay home or work, we all deal with the same stuff when we are at home. The endless piles of laundry and the never ending task of cleaning up all the toys that are scattered throughout our house.

We need a break.

After the battle of putting the kids to bed has concluded we all wind down in our own way and reflect on how crazy and blessed our days have been. A friend recently suggested a Moms’ Night In, similar to Girls’ Night Out the only difference is Moms only and no heels. We all need time to vent and get tips from other moms so this is a great time to unwind and enjoy an adult beverage in a fun environment.

I remember the days when Girls’ Night Out would include spending hours getting glamorous and getting ready for a long night out on the town. A lot has changed since then, now I would rather sit in my PJs in bed than put on a dress and heels. So for us moms out there that still wanna have fun but wanna be comfortable, Moms’ Night In is the solution.

Grab your Mom squad head over to one designated house. You can trade off every month or just find the house that is the cleanest.

Send the kids and dads to one house order them a pizza and start the party. Bring over your favorite treats, food, adult beverages and chill. Catch up on some movies or binge watch your favorite tv shows.

The great thing about Moms Night In is there are no rules. Just relax, chill and forget about all your mom duties for one night.
